Hi Everyone!
I hope your week is off to a great start! It’s hard to believe summer is a mere 2 1/2 weeks away for me… this year has flown by! But, I’m more ready than ever for the new season. Bring on ALL the sunshine, vacation, good food and good times with family and friends! Today, I’m excited to share with you some of my “staple” Instagram accounts to follow. Being honest, 95% of the accounts I follow are food/ health related. They’re my favorite! While I do love those, I’m also drawn to different lifestyle, travel, organizing/home accounts as well. So, I’ve managed to round-up a few of my go-to’s and I hope you love them as much as I do!
1.) @the_mae_deli / @deliciouslyella–
Man oh man. I’ll admit, I absolutely swoooon over both of these accounts. Ella Woodward (@deliciouslyella) is the founder of The Mae Deli (@the_mae_deli), an incredible, plant-based restaurant and bakery with various locations throughout London. Ella’s personal account gives a closer look at her day-to-day life and behind the scenes of her cookbook/blog/deli’s. Her work ethic and drive to provide delicious, nourishing food through all of her business ventures is truly inspiring. I equally love following The Mae Deli’s account for beautiful photos of all the goodies prepared from her books/restaurant. So, if you’re looking for a fun, health-driven account, be sure to check these out!
2.) @healthy_ish–
When Bon Appétit Magazine first launched their new site, Healthyish, I honestly thought I had died and gone to Heaven. The ultimate culinary magazine now had recipes that were beautiful, delicious and best of all… healthy! What I love about Healthyish is that it really is true to its name. Majority of their recipes are Healthy-“ish”… meaning they’re much more than a sad bowl of kale topped with celery. I’m talking grass-fed butter, olive oil, pasta, bread… all the goodness so often foreign in a healthy diet, made healthy. So, for all the people saying good-for-you food can’t be delicious… check them out!
3.) @neatmethod/ @thehomeedit–
My fellow OCD friends REJOICE! These accounts are the creme de la creme for the neat freaks (like myself:). I first came across them a few months back and wow… I was at a loss for words. I know… organizing doesn’t sound like the most enticing thing to look at every day but, Neat Method and The Home Edit are professional organizers from all over the US who transform cluttered spaces into labeled, color-coded perfection. So, if you’re in need of a little spring cleaning motivation, be sure to take a look!
4.) @lampandlight–
Last but certainly not least, I want to share with you guys an account that I can always count on to put me at ease. While all the pretty pictures of Instagram are great, the most important part of my day, everyday, is to come to the word. Lamp and Light has created an incredible community of women who want to live and walk in the light of the Lord. Their account post daily scripture and goes into further detail about how we as Christians can apply it to our lives. Seeing these words throughout my feed helps me remember that yes, social media is great, but we can never lose sight of Him throughout it all.
I hope you all are able to check out these amazing accounts and love them as much as I do! Thank you all again for continuing to follow me along here on Mind Body Glow, I appreciate you more than you know! See you guys this weekend!
xx,Lily
